DIRECTORS MESSAGE
Provision of basic services and infrastructure development remains the primary development focus of the government of South Africa. There still remains under-serviced communities in the country. It was our greatest pleasure in the past year for BJ-FC to complete some of the projects where end-users received the full benefits. BJ-FC was instrumental in the completion of major roads, bridges, water infrastructure, reservoirs, and community halls. We want to thank our clients for giving us the opportunities and our employees for their spirit of excellence and dedication in the execution of the projects. We truly fulfilled our mission, which is “to provide our clients with reliable, independent, cost-effective advice in planning & implementation of projects”.
In 2020, BJ-FC still exists to serve the South African community with integrity by delivering excellent civil, structural, and water engineering consulting services as well as project management. The country has undergone major changes in the political and business climate, those changes have now reflected on our business operations. As a company, over the years we have passively partnered with electrical engineering and environmental consulting companies when opportunities presented themselves. This year we plan to add these two sectors as part of our core business offerings in order to service our clients better. This is a natural organic growth process for us and we are excited about it.
We are aware that 2020 is anticipated to be an economically challenging year as indicated by the declining GDP for the past two consecutive quarters. As BJ-FC, we are confident that the vision, plans, systems and strategies that we have set in place over the years will hold us in good stead and we shall remain the preferred consulting engineering company. We also have an excellent team of young, energetic and highly qualified experts on each one of our service offerings.
We look forward to sustained growth of BJ-FC in 2020 and the continued contribution to the development of South Africa.
